BABYCORN KOORMA


INGREDIENTS:
1)2 Tbsp grated coconut
2)8 long red dry chillies
3)little tamarind
4)1 chopped tomato
5)1/4 tsp turmeric powder
6)2 tsp special masala powder like (preferably) eastern chana masala or pav bhaji masala
7)2 tsp hoori kadle daali
8) 1 big onion
9)6 garlic cloves
9)1 tsp each coriander seeds nd jeera
10)1/2 tsp kasoori methi soaked in warm water for 10 mins..
11)methi seeds 5(count)...if kasoori methi is not readily available then u can use totally 10 methi seeds
12)2 lavang nd 2" cinamonn
13) 2 tsp oil preferably sunflower
METHOD
grind 1-12  to a nice paste...keep washed masala water aside...heat oil in a kadai nd fry the masala till it leaves the sides of the pan(do not make the paste watery..otherwise it splutters out at this stage....)..add cubed babycorn  nd salt nd cook till done(add washed masala water if it needs)...decorate with coriander leaves...

TO MAKE THIS KOORMA RICH U CAN ADD SOAKED CASHEWNUTS  ND KUSKUS IN LITTLE MILK  FOR 20 MINUTES   ND ADD WHILE GRINDING  ND DECORATE KOORMA WITH CREAM...
VARIATIONS....U CAN PREPARE MIXED VEG KOORMA OR MUSHROOM  OR PANIR  OR MIXING ALL....
